 Del's Sweet Surrender

He walked through the rain, tears dripping off his nose. He was a young boy- only thirteen- but he was abandoned, and relinquishing his royal title of the anarchic kingdom that had been overthrown and in a state of semi permanent disrepair. He sat beneath a tree, its branches stretching out to the sky. He cried himself to sleep, missing his parents and his sister and he missed Laurel, his girlfriend, even more. Darkness consumed him and he fell into a deep sleep, shivering in the cold, wet darkness.
The morning was no different, except slightly sunnier and less rainy. The mud was coating his so much, he didn't even trail it anymore. It was a constant downpour, over his heart and his body.

He was older now. Depression had hit him hard, and he was almost always crying or looking at the floor, lacking essential self-esteem. A young girl, Elina, had taken him in with her family and they lived in a small house in Mitya. He left them one day, to be alone with his thoughts, drifting slowly away from everything he knew, until he bacme everything he is.

• Do not post URLs in the cbox. If you want to link it to your name, then that's fine.

• Please keep all topics pg, there are younger kids on this site, so be considerate.

• Don't swear at the staff members or anyone for that matter. Please be respectful.
