Magma

Standing at the top of the volcano, Magma looked down at Cinaed. He smiled at it as his hair blew in the wind. It was odd to have a wind chill near a volcano, but he ignored it, thinking it must be because he's so high up. Letting out a sigh, he decided to go down. Screw the stairs, he thought, smiling maniacally. He hopped over the edge and slid down the side, pretending there was a snow board under him. His shoes slid down the rocks and his knees were bended. He never felt more alive. Well, not since his mother died. When she came to his mind, he lost balance and fell forward, rolling the rest of the way down. Luckily for him, his roll was only a few feet. He landed on his back with a thud. He stayed laid there, looking up at the sky. A cloud formed her face and he immediately shook the image out of his head. She gone now, he told himself. The past is the past. Time to move on. He closed his eyes, trying to fight back tears. A few fought out and slid down his face, but he wiped them off as soon as he felt it on his cheek. Sitting up, he got on his feet and wiped the rest of the tears from his eyes. He put his hand inside his pocket and started to walk to the town. I need a hobby, he thought. He stopped before he could enter Cinaed completely. He turned his head off to the side and looked at the forest. He turned towards it and decided that the pond would be his new destination.
