"I'm glad," he replied, feeling his heartstrings pull at the sight of her doe-like, russet eyes looking at him so rapturously. She was so enticing, especially under the glimmering light, that he had the urge to pull her to him and never let go. His dazzlingly-handsome features softened as he pulled something from his pocket; a rose like no other. It seemed to be made of gemstones; passionate rubies and incandescent diamonds, shimmering as though created by the stars themselves. However, it was truly alive and would remain that way for all of eternity. Along with it was six other roses, one of every color. "I will love you until the last one dies." he murmured.
At that moment, a familiar voice spoke up from behind him.
"If it isn't Orpheus." James' voice was surprised. The handsome young man, practically-universally known for his amiable nature and honest business, approached them from across the room. "It's been a long time, my friend. And you, my dear, are stunning. Is this the girl you spoke of the other night, the one you were so ardent to return to? Miss...Naminé, was it?"
Though James' words were flattering, there was no evidence of anything other than true fondness and sincerity in his voice. He was not attempting to flirt with Nami, nor was he mocking or needling Orpheus.
"The one and only. Nami, allow me to introduce my good friend, Mr. James Abaddon." Orpheus said as James bowed with a grin and wink in Naminé's direction. "You've caught yourself a good one, miss."
What's that rascal doing here? Charon grumbled. Liora, however, was of the opposite opinion. Oh hush, Charon! James is such a lovely young man, so sweet and polite...
It seemed that James' natural charisma made him friends with everybody and anybody.

Every word that she could pull from his lips was like a man dying of thirst finally getting his fill. It was Nirvana, or Heaven, or Providence, it was the Sun. It was the thing she lived for, making him happy, watching him love her. Watching how his eyes softened and lit up when she talked with him made her heart fly like a whole group of hummingbirds. Her tawny eyes widening on the beautiful rose that glittered under the fine light in the restaurant; the immortal flowers, and her heart pounded painfully at his words. He would love her forever. "Orpheus.." she whispered, smiling.
Blinking up in surprise, sadly brought out of the daze of his words, her eyes fell onto another man. Obviously this man knew Orpheus. Her smile was light, sweet, and friendly when the man called her stunning. She had never really believe it, when anyone called her beautiful, a long line of being told that she was worthless atuned to that. Grinning at his words, her eyes brightened up. "Yeah, I know I did, and it's nice to meet you. Any friend of Orpheus' is a friend of mine." she said, patting Orpheus's knee under the table.

"That's all fine and well, since I don't have many of them." Orpheus said with a good-natured grin, wrapping an arm around her waist gently. A grin stretched across James' face, but he quickly forced it into a psuedo-jealous look. "Where did you find her, anyway? I didn't think there were women like this out there!" he said in a false-complaining voice. Orpheus chuckled, running his fingers through Nami's long, luciously thick and silky hair, like an obsidian river flowing over his hand. "She found me, actually, and caught me hook-line-and sinker on sight."
It was ironic, really, that a being of the dead would give them the lives they'd never thought they'd have.
James' sapphire gaze sharpened keenly; he knew that Orpheus wasn't telling him everything, but he didn't pry. "I believe it...you're smitten." He said teasingly, but much to his surprise, Orpheus seemed to consider it for a moment before nodding. "I suppose I am."
After a few moments, James bid them farewell. Taking Nami's hand and kissing it with a bow before shaking Orpheus' hand, he shot the couple another grin before disappearing out the door.
Which reminded Orpheus of something. "Naminé...what would you say if I were to ask you to...move in...with me?" he asked hesitantly, watching her beautiful visage anxiously for her reply.

Naminé rolled her eyes and giggled at his first words. "Well, before you I didn't have any, except for my... special acquantences...so you've one-uped me there, hun." she said teasingly. Snuggling into his side with ease and grace as she felt his arm wrap around her, landing on her opposite hip, she smiled happily. Nami felt herself leaning into his hand, as it ran smoothly through her hair, and she closed her eyes, quite content.
Smirking as Orpheus admitted he was smitten to his apparently rare friend, she kissed his shoulder and nodded whole heartedly, making it clear that it was the same for her. As James left, she grinned at him and waved cutely. He was polite and nice, she liked him. Swiveling in her chair to look at him when he spoke her name quite seriously, she looked at him, making herself serious. This was obviously something he'd been working up to for most of the night.
"Naminé...what would you say if I were to ask you to...move in...with me?"
She could practically see him squirming in his seat, embarrassed and worried that she would say no, probably already having convincing himself that she would. Instead, she leaned forward and pressed her lips against his softly, letting them linger for a moment. Letting him feel the curve of her lips as they turned upwards into a soft smile, she pressed her forehead against his tenderly, keeping their lips maybe an inch apart and whispered, "I would say that nothing would make me happier than to move in with you, love." Her ebony hair fell around her shoulders, covering them in thick black silk and her bangs brushed against his forehead.

"I would say that nothing would make me-"
Ever want to, probably. A million thoughts were racing through his head at the moment. Nothing would make her ever want to, nothing would make her feel worse, nothing would make her-
"-happier than to move in with you, love."
Orpheus stared at her for a long moment before a grin began to spread across his features. "Really?" he asked, not completely certain he wasn't dreaming.
"Go buy a ring. I want this one for the rest of your existance." Charon ordered. 'Shut it, Charon... Orpheus ordered absently, almost ninety-nine percent of his attention on Naminé, which was rarely possible. "Are you sure? I mean, I'm thrilled! But is this what you want, honestly?"

Naminé could feel how tense he was, up to the moments her words finally registered in his probably melted down brain. It was really kind of sick how much she enjoyed the incredulous air that rose around him when he finally understood that she had said yes. The brilliant smile on his face made her own smile all the more sweeter, and she stared right back into his brilliant different colored eyes with her warm ones.
Placing her hands on either side of his face, she looked at him tenderly and spoke with such truth in her words, that he couldn't doubt that she wasn't lying. "Yes, Orpheus, I am quite sure. I would love to move in with you. It ranks right up there on my happiest moments list, probably directly following enjoying being your lady." she said, her eyes never leaving his, forcing him to believe her. "It is honestly what I want." she ended, smiling.

He opened his mouth to answer, but was cut off abruptly when a waiter approached the table. Orpheus sighed and, having already consulted Charon and Liora, ordered the best food and drinks there were to offer.
He did have a lot to think about, though. Naminé moving in with him would allow him to keep an eye on her, because honestly, he was getting worried. Liora had mentioned that the creatures that had attacked them in the eternal night were gathering there in large numbers, and she was fearful of what that might signify.
But he wouldn't bother Nami with any of this. Instead, he ran his hand over her back, gently rubbing to relax the muscles there. "Would you like to dance?" he asked, motioning towards the dancefloor and extending a hand.

Naminé leaned back in her seat chuckling as the waiter arrived, and Orpheus once again got the most expensive things this place could offer. It was a good thing she hadn't been spoiled as a child because if she had, she would be expecting this everytime they went out. Orphie would be a poor man before the weak was out. One must always look at the bright side.
Secretly, Naminé was very, very happy that Orpheus had wanted her to move in. Not only did she just love being with him, and love him, but she was also starting to get a bit frightened. As it was earlier explained, the ghosts haunting her were increasing in numbers as they days went on, and while some of them must have just died, others had been deceased for quite some time now, and it was taxing. Whenever Orpheus was around though, she felt safer. Plus it was nice having someone else who could see them. She didn't like being thought of as crazy, it was insulting and it hurt her poorly constructed ego.
Arching her back a bit, as his hand slid over it, she closed her eyes and smiled. It felt so nice. Plus, this particular dress she was wearing had no back, so it was just skin on skin. Opening her eyes as he spoke, she smiled and nodded. Getting up, she chuckled. "I make no promises about not stepping on any toes." she said warningly.

He chuckled, taking her hand and leading her out onto the floor, pulling her close to his chiseled body. One hand went to the small of her back, the other grasping her hand gently. Her slender hand practically disappeared into his larger, stronger one. He smiled at her, pulling her so close that she was literally standing on his feet.
He began to take slow, careful steps to match the music that was playing, speeding up when he was sure she could handle balancing there. Moving with liquid-like grace, he made them appear to be professionals--which, of course, he was.

Naminé bit her lip as he yanked her into his comforting embrace, with his hand on her lower bare back. Understandably, she happened to be remembering what those hands had been doing to her a few days prior to tonight, and it made her blush a bit. Blinking in surprise when she suddenly found herself precariously balanced on Orpheus' feet, she smiled, and kissed his chin.
Closing her eyes she let the music flow through her, letting herself get lost in the sound of the song, the carress of her dress on her skin, and the hard man against her. Realizing just how amazing he was, she shook her head in awe. "What are you? Good at everything?" she chuckled, amazed. Her brown eyes turned and met his brilliant gaze, and she smiled.

He laughed, actually threw back his head and laughed at that, his perfect teeth flashing in the light. "Hardly. It's nice to know that someone thinks I am, though. Be careful, or my ego may just lift me off the ground." he joked, kissing her forehead. Outside, he heard the distant rumble of thunder and shot a look out the nearest window. "That's too bad, they have an amazing garden here, but I wouldn't want you to get wet." he muttered, frowning. Then again...hmm.
((sorry, a bit museless lol))

Her whole face lit up when she watched him laugh, and the light from the Cystal chandelier above them created starlight crystals on her soft features. Chuckling, she nuzzled her head against his neck and nipped lightly on his collarbone. "As long as you take me with you, what do I care?" she said, smiling. Tilting her head back to look up at him, when he spoke again, she smirked. Naminé could see the wicked glint in his eyes, and she could tell that he was rethinking that statement. Smirking a bit, her eyes danced up teasingly at him. "You do know that wings can do more than just allow you to fly, right?" she joked. The tattoo on her back wiggled, in agreement.

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" he asked mischeviously, lifting her into his arms and promptly slapping a bill down onto the table. It was a good thing they had eaten quickly. He carried her outside, wings raising to protect her from the rain that was pelting down before gently setting her down on her feet. "It's this way." he explained, leading her down a beautifully-lit path.
The garden was breathtaking, especially in the rain. With waterfalls and fountains, rare animals and colorful birds, shimmering lights and thousands of psychedelic flowers that filled the air with a sweet, heavenly perfume, the closest comparison was heaven. The droplets raining from the sky only managed to give the garden an atmosphere of mystery and romance, the crystalline teardrops making the scenery sparkle.
He quickly became drenched, the rain making him shrug off his overcoat and allow the water to run down his shirt. If anything, it only made him sexier. Reaching for her and grasping her by the waist, Orpheus spun Naminé around and kissed her lips while the thunder purred overhead.
Not bad, kid.

Naminé's smirk matched his own as he pulled her up into his arms and carried her out of the restaurant, apparently oblivious to the dozens of couples who were staring at them jealously. Either they were wondering why they weren't with someone as hot as Naminé or Orpheus, or they were complaining about how thier dates weren't strong enough or pretty enough to do that. For Naminé it was actually quite entertaining. When the comforting cold chill from outside hit her skin, she looked up to find that they were outside, and Orpheus' wings were hanging over her head, keeping her dry. Smiling as he placed her down on her feet, she rose her eyebrows, and grinned. He hadn't gotten to see her wings yet. They were nothing special, but she simply adored them. They were as soft as his angel one, maybe softer, definietly softer than Bear.
Stepping away from him, she removed herself from the cover of his umbrella like wings still smiling beautifully. The wings on her back started squirming beneath the surface, and she closed her brilliant eyes. Suddenly her wings broke free of her back, and as a result her back arched beautifully, making her look like what a mermaid supposidly looked like when they rose to the surface of the water and flipped their hair back. It may not sound beautiful, but it was. Midiene was most definietly the correct way to describe her now. Her wings stretched out leisurely, just under twice her size, her black feathers separate as she did so. Then, she moved them so that they blocked the rain from her already soaked figure. Her dress clung tighter to her skin than ever, and her hair was water-logged and flared out all around her.
Smiling up at him she took his hand as they began walked down the path, sneaking peeks at him the whole time. He looked hot. She wanted to touch him, just a little bit. The little lamps on either side of the path looked like stars that had been lassoued down and tied to posts. It was beautiful. When the couple finally made their way into the beautiful garden, her beautiful eyes opened wide in awe. It looked like something just out of the fairy tale, like a rainforest from the Lost Lands, a story of myth. Everything was dense with very green folliage and the rain sparkled and floated like the random dust in every house, never really hitting the ground. It made her heart stop.
Gasping and giggling as he grabbed her around the waist and whirled her around, her hair splayed out beautifully, water flying off in almost slow motion. Lighting up like flying crystals as it was struck by the light of the lamps. Fisting her hands in his shirt, as he kissed her, she had to agree with the thunder, a purr was definitely appropriate.

Lust and love tangled in the depthless pools of his eyes as he pulled her ever closer, his fingers dancing over her skin lightly in tempting, teasing motions. He pressed her back against the nearest lamp post, his lips finding hers.
Somewhere, no doubt by Charon, Orpheus learned just how much to give a woman before pulling back, keeping her on edge and needy with just his kisses. Pulling back just when she would want it deeper, coming back for more the moment she was ready to scream in frustration. His hands pressed against her back, sliding dangerously low.
