[glow=red,2,300]"Eh, what is it with some of these evil folks? It's like they have to make a mess of a grand forest just because they don't like the color green. Some of the scariest places I have enjoyed haunting were vast stretches of forest, all growing and green....and very menacing,"[/glow] thought Zynn-Tae as she walked through the wretched lands in Erebos. She saw a temple in the distance through the smoky atmosphere and decided to check the place out. Whatever dark deity called this place his abode might need a nightmare to assist him and Zynn-Tae fancied herself that nightmare.
She made her way through the strewn boulders and dreary landscape to the temple. As she neared the place she noticed that the temple looked better than its surroundings, then again she knew that the dark ones liked to have their abodes be impressive despite the wretched environment. She walked through between two rows of tall, black pillars that were topped with red flames that gave off a dark smoke to the temple. The temple itself was a huge black marble structure (similar to a Greek temple). When she went inside, Zynn-Tae noticed an altar in the middle of the room that sent up a huge pall of black smoke that went upwards through a hole in the roof. She looked at the black, orange, and red banners that hung on the temple walls, banners embroidered with flames and within those flames a pair of green eyes staring out. At the far end of the temple there was a huge statue of a being astride a....nightmare, but this was no ordinary nightmare. Zynn-Tae immediately recognized it, for the nightmare was of the Horned Lord tribe. This particular nightmare had the build of a vast draft horse with huge, curving ram's horns. She remembered that there was a legend of a Horned Lord nightmare serving as a dark deity's steed, and though Horned Lords were rarely used as mounts the fighters amongst them would serve as steeds. She recognized the fighter nightmare by his ram's horns, for she know the lesser Horned Lords had horns like a gazelle while their tribe's leaders had horns of (Irish elk)stags.
She could feel that she was being watched as she made her way around the temple.
