ripped from having a normal life. left to be the queen of t h e i v e s. I loved sunny days. Bright, hot sunny days. Especially when I was a shapeshifter and could get to this lake anytime I wanted. It was nice. Extremly, extremly nice. The only problem is. I had to drag my two right hand men with me because they were like kids. If I wasn't around to watch them, they'd get into trouble. It was annoying, but what could I do? Opening my sapphire blue eyes, I stared up at the cloudless sky and sighed. It was quiet for the time being. Hopefully they were seeing who could stay underwater the longest.
I should know better than to get my hopes up. "Brea!" "Brea, come on and swim! Your no fun!" Tyson and Exel yelled, treading water. I sat up from laying down, my short sapphire hair brushing against my sharp cheek bones. "Let me think about it. I'll let you know in oh... two hours?" I responded, and being the brainless idiots they were, just grinned and gave me a thumbs up. I rolled my eyes, pursing my lips and laying back down.
Being the Queen of Thieves was difficult sometimes. I was just glad no one knew that it was me. They expect the Queen to stay locked away in the base and not actually come out to do the dirty work. Wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. All wrong. That was the funnest part of being the Queen. I was the best there was. It was a religion for me to steal things. Clothes, food, jewelry, money, even animals sometimes. I loved it. It kept me young.
Suddenly, someone stood overtop of me, blocking the sunlight. "Tyson. Exel. I sware if you don't move I'll drown you both." I grumbled. I heard them snicker, and suddenly, grab ahold of my wrists and ankles. "NO! DAMMIT PUT ME DOWN!" I shrieked, writing in they're grip. Just then, the swung and let go, sending me flailing down off my wrong and into the water. Kicking so I would break surface, I did, gasping for breath. "A.ssholes!" I yelled, narrowing my jewel-like eyes at them, my full lips pursed. If they weren't two the best thieves in my clan, I'd kill 'em. [/color][/blockquote] My name? // Brea. My race? // Shapeshifter. My company? // Two idiotic theives who I would love to kill. Especially right now. They're just lucky I love them like they were my brothers. [/blockquote]

"Come on, you pansies! This is pathetic!" I yelled, laughing over my shoulder. The muscles in my back rippled as my wings moved through their full range of motions. Behind me, Flex and Axel were glaring daggers at my back - although they tactfully changed their expressions to false grins everytime I looked over at them - as they leapt from tree branch to tree branch to follow my progress. "You have an unfair advantage, Your Highness. Try dropping down to our level and you might change your view of how quickly we're moving," Flex shouted after me.
Grinning at him from above, I flicked him off. Even though he was acting like he didn't respect me, I knew he was joking. My subjects all loved and respected me, and they knew to stop the moment my mood changed. I liked their jokes and teasing, it kept me modest, and often they told me the truths that I never wanted to admit to myself. "You'd still eat my dust," I laughed, as I dropped onto the nearest branch. My wings folded miraculously into my skin as my feet pushed off the hard wood and sent me flying - without wings - to the next branch, and then the next. Just as I'd predicted, I soon left them behind.
With a triumphant grin I looked down at the fist sized emerald in my hand. This had been our treasure from our last job. It was quite a find, if I do say so myself. With the last jump I found myself falling into open air, yet I managed to land gracefully on the ground, on bent knees. Looking up, I blinked in surprise at the image of two men standing at the water's edge where a woman's head was just breaking the surface. Her brilliant, blue hair was what caught my attention the most.
"Sorry, to interrupt the party," I said softly, my dark hair falling sexily over my eyes. I was dressed strangely for the fashions in this area. I wore a black, skin-tight tanktop that fit snuggly over my defined muscles, and a pair of tight fitting pants as well as two black gloves and leather boots. Two bands of leather wrapped around each of my biceps as well as two crosses hanging around my neck.

ripped from having a normal life. left to be the queen of t h e i v e s. I sensed somebody else close by before I saw them. Before he even spoke, I turned my sapphire eyes to land on this gorgeous species of a man. Sorry to interupt the party. he said, and I rolled my eyes. "If your calling this a party, than I think you need to go to a bar and get an actual definition." I said, walking up onto the surface. My tight, black half-shirt clung to my lean body, my shorts hanging low on my hips and clinging to the curves. I shook my head, my blue hair spraying water and laying lightly to my skull. Exel and Tyson were instantly behind me, even though I was ten feet from the guy and could shift faster than he could probably move. I glanced over at the man and his comrades again before turning and walking back up to my rock.
This time, I laid down on my somach, using my arms as a pillow for my chin. Exel and Tyson walked to the end of it, and sat there with they're legs dangling off. "Guys. If you're going to mope about other people being here, go back to the base." I grumbled, my eyes half closed. They turned and looked back at me and shrugged standing and walking towards the forest. "Stay out of my liquore and I mean it." I yelled, not turning to look at them.
I honestly didn't care if there were one hundred people here. I was comfortable on my rock, in the sun, and I wasn't moving. A small, high pitched yawn escaped my lips and I closed my eyes, listening for that man and his partners just incase they decided to investigate on the only other person here. [/blockquote] my name? - brea. my race? - shapeshifter. my company? - exel and tyson just left. now its these three guys that i don't know. one, who is extremly sexy and i would not mind peeling that black t-shirt off that body. Her eyes rolled at my words, and my lips instantly slanted into an amused and pleased smirk. I had obviously found a feisty one, my favorite kind of woman. From what I could see of her face, beautiful too. I'd lied the first time, feisty and beautiful was my favorite kind of woman. My smirk widened. "If your calling this a party, than I think you need to go to a bar and get an actual definition," she said in a voice that had the strength of a man but the flow and tone of a woman; a very appealing woman.
"And if you think that going to a bar equals that of a true party, then you have yet to find the true definition, either," I said, teasingly. What made a party was the people you were with, not the place. My eyes trailed her body as she slowly made her way from the water to the shore, crystalline droplets falling in teardrops down her body. The scrap of cloth that wrapped around the top half of her body - which could hardly be called a shirt - was enough to make just about any man drool. It was a good thing I was much better at controlling such urges. Her shorts hung low-enough on her hips that another woman would look at her once and scream, Indecent w.hore!. Of course, her beauty and the look of intellegence in her was enough to tell him that she was much more than that. Much, much more.
She shook her head easily, and flung her hair lightly so that it lay parted on her head and curved around her angelic - haha, right - face. I watched silently as the two brutes moved behind her, but the smirk didn't fall. They wouldn't even be able to lay a hand on me. I didn't care what they were, or who they were, they'd never be able to catch me. I didn't have to know their limits, when I knew my own.
Apparently the female had the same thought because she moved away calmly to sit on a rock. She was a woman who knew her own strengths and was confident in them. I grinned as she told her men to leave, and crossed my arms over my strong chest as they did so with a shrug. She was obviously in charge of them, which was really a turn on for me. It was nice to see a woman in charge.
Before Axel or Flex could jump down to the ground from their sheltered spot in the tree tops, I help up my hand. "Go back to the base," I said, calmly. After a moment I turned my head slightly and threw the emerald into Flex's waiting hands. "Take that back with you and put it in my room." I commanded, before walking forward, not even bothering to see if they'd obeyed. They had.
Sitting down on a rock near the water, I took both of my boots off. Aftering getting them off my feet, I yanked the skin-tight shirt over my head, revealing my defined chest. Getting into the water without making a sound, I leaned back against the edge of rock that made up the wall surrounding the small pond. I wasn't showing off, I was relaxing. This was normally where I came after completing a mission. I didn't care if she was here, she could join me or not. She could leave, or not. I didn't care in the least.
"They listened to you very well. What makes them obey you? A spell perhaps? Or have they simply realized that a woman's fury and strength is most often a larger threat than one might think?" I questioned. My eyes remained closed. She was no threat to me.

I didn't have to focus on listening to this guy to hear he was telling his boys to leave. I could hear perfectly fine. I clentched my jaw though. Why? He wasn't going to get any if thats what he was thinking. I listened to him as he walked, sensing every small vibration through the rock as he moved. I heard the gentle swish of water as he went in and leaned against the rock I was laying on. Joker.
Than he spoke to me. Asking me how I controlled my men so easily. If it was because they finally realized the wrath of a woman. I rolled my eyes. "No. They realized that us females are the smarter, stronger, and just altogether better gender." I told him, my voice emotionless and completely serious. I wasn't going to be like, No because I'm the Queen of Thieves and they do what the hell I tell them because I'm just in charge. That, would be stupid.
I rolled over onto my back to stare up at the first few clouds that were inching they're way into view. I blinked my dark blue eyes when the sun appeared form behind one of them. My golden skin glistened still with water crystals and my hair shimmered like a saphire. I wasn't going to start conversation with this guy by the way. If he wanted to talk or ask questioned, he could be my guest, but I wasn't going to. I wasn't very talkative. Only to the people I knew and was closest to. Thats how I worked. Sorry. It sucks. But its a reply.

I grinned to myself with my eyes closed as I laid in the water, my body stretched out. I could practically hear her gritting her teeth together when I decided to stay. That was enough to force me to remain where I was. Obviously, if it bugged the crap out of her that I was there, leaving was out of the question. Opening my eyes, I sought her relaxed form on the rock and smiled slightly. She had a feline grace to her as she stretched out like that. My eyes trailed the line of her back to the shadow she cast on the ground. An easy out, should I need it.
"No. They realized that us females are the smarter, stronger, and just altogether better gender," My smile widened with mirth. "Ouch. Harboring some foul feelings toward men are we?" I joked, not bothering to move. If they thought that she was smarter or stronger than he, then they were mistaken. He had no doubt that she was strong, probably stronger than most men, by the look of it, but not more so than he was.
My eyes returned to her beautiful body as the sun parted from the clouds. Her body shone like gold in the sunlight, and for one moment I lost my breath. Only one though. Rising from the water I walked to her side, my chest glistening in the sun as the water ran down my skin. My pants hung low on my hips as I looked down at her, running a hand through my obsidian hair. "Want to go on a job with me?" I questioned, my dark eyes smouldering unintentionally. At the same time as my eyes burned, they were serious and hard. I'd known from the first moment that she was a thief, and if she was as smart as I was, she'd have known that I too was one.

I snickered at his responce to my comeback. "No, not hard feelings. I just know how they are and how they're brains tick." I said. I heard the water move and the soft vibrations of his feet on my rock. What was he doing? I saw him move to stand over me. Than, he asked me to do a job with him. Ah, so he knew I was a theif. The ease of his walk, I knew he was, too. I rolled easily to my feet. "With you? Why don't you let me do it for you." I said with a wink. I was messing with him. I wasn't saying I was better.
As I walked past him to go down off the rock, I shifted into a falcon, fluttering up to land easily on a leafless branch. "Lead the way, boss man." I said, my mouth... well, beak not opening though. It came with the shifting territory. Being a shifter in a theif was perfect. You could turn into a mouse, a fly, or anything small to get past people without them knowing. If you had to make a fast get away, turn into a hawk, falcon, horse, or cheetah. Easy peazy, lemon squeezy. [/color] sorry, its bad. couldn't find anything to work off of for some reason lol. (not saying yours was bad, it was really good.)

Everything about this girl was enjoyable, her attitude, her body, her voice; everything. "So, by that logic you're more sensitive than you seem and when you say you're not mad you're lying," I said, smirking right back at her. "With you? Why don't you let me do it for you." she winked. My lips pursed as I tried not to laugh. "I would, but you see then you might get too full of yourself, and I just couldn't live with myself." I responded simply, my ebony eyes burning.
As she walked past me, I grinned just as her body morphed. I found her choice of animal to be rather ironic. She would pick a winged beast, it was as if she knew that he too had wings. "Lead the way, boss man." "As you command, my lady," he said, bowing at the waist. "Assuming you remain the same gender when you change speices, that is," I grinned, my eyes flashing. "Must be helpful on a job," I mused.
I too had something similar that worked just as well. There were always shadows, and I could disappear in them.

My beak clicked together. "I already am full of myself, darling." My head turned so I could look at him with one, yellow eye. I looked like a regular falcon. It was a good thing, too. It kept my identity well hidden. My talons dug into the branch, locking me in place. "Yes, genious, I stay the same gender." I snapped, my wings opening slightly in aggrivation. Stupid question. Though I knew he was teasing, I dealt with morons all day. I didn't need him pretending to be one.
I stared at him, waiting for him to go. To lead the way. Wherever we were going.
ooc// didn't have much to do? you didn't go anywhere lol.
