Name: Roxanne Crown
Age: 15
Gender: Wait…wait…yep, still female!
Race: Human? Originally, yes…but does this qualify for someone who like, has a bazillion different forms? I’m supposed to be human, but man, something musta went wrong somewhere down the line. More on that later. For the remainder of this thing, I think I’ll stick to my original form and explain what the heck I’m talking about later.
Appearance:
Picture: i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd310/emaera/LieToMe.jpg
Personality: Okay, just one thing to say before I really start: If you don’t like my attitude, DEAL WITH IT. I don’t like your face! I aint changing, not for you, not for anyone. Unless, of course, I’m acting as someone else, in which case I’ll take the necessary steps.
Something I get a lot from people is that I’m arrogant and stubborn, which isn’t exactly true. I’m just sarcastic, which pisses people off, and I fight for what I believe in…which is a double-edged sword. It’s hard to get me to back down from a fight, even though I’m barely trained in physical combat. I’m just kind of hot-headed, and a drama queen to boot. And man, I drive people crazy! They’ll be screaming their heads off and boiling mad, but when they expect me to cry and beg for forgiveness, they get an amused smirk and a sarcastic comment. Not the best tactic, but it is rather fun. And when it comes to mind games, I’m your worst nightmare; I can get into your head and you’ll never get me out until I’m good and ready to go. I’ve got a natural instinct for manipulating people, a sense for what to say and do, and when to say/do it. Now don’t get me wrong-I know my limits. But who’s to say that means I obey them? I’m willing to take risks, get into trouble, and take a hit. If I’m going to walk off a plank, I’ll do it with a smile…you won’t hear me surrender, not now, not ever.
Abilities*: I shapeshift, and get this: I don’t shapeshift into animals! Nope. See? This is what I’ve been talking about! My talent just happens to be changing my appearance into anything I like, as long as it’s somewhat human...like, no wolves or dragons. I could make my ears long and pointy and look like an elf, but I wouldn’t be one, and the same for vampire teeth. Stick to the reality here, I’m human, no matter what costume I put on. Anyway… In like, three seconds or less, I could be a totally different person, and you’d probably never know unless you know me really well, which is unlikely. I can even look like I’m way older or way younger than I really am, but it doesn’t change my real age. Like, if I was really 100 and I Shifted to look like I was 16, I’d still die when my original form’s lifespan ran out.
Strengths: The best part about Shapeshifting is that it barely takes any energy to Shift into the forms I practice the most, which I’ll list in a second. I can keep up an unfamiliar disguise for anywhere between 3 and 7 days right now, and the more I practice, the longer I get. Like, in my favorite form (besides my original), I could probably last up to 3 weeks before having to break for a day or so. The newer the Shift-form, though, the harder it is to maintain and the more concentration is required. Oh, and by the way, it does change my strength and stuff. Like if I were to shapeshift into a woman with good arms for archery and I knew how to do archery, I could totally kick butt at it.

Fav #2 i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd310/emaera/anime/girl.jpg
Weaknesses: Like I said, I can’t keep this thing up forever. If I’ve kept a form for as long as I can, it doesn’t matter where I am-I Shift back. Which could be dangerous, depending on what I’m doing then. For example, if I’m sneaking through a town where my original form is well known and suddenly, my Shift-form runs out of power, I revert back, and oopsies. Roxy-go-bye-bye.
History: Well, I’m not an amoeba, I had parents you know. I had a sister, too. She was so cute, and she had this adorable little bunny toy she dragged around everywhere with her. And then, of course, someone killed my parents, as it goes in every sad story. We were sent to an orphanage, where a few of the kids decided they hated my sister. Killed her, hung her from the ceiling supports in the main hall. Her rabbit? All the stuffing was ripped out. Laying on the floor beneath her. I promised myself that I’d never become attached to anyone again. I was born in mid-autumn. Surrounded by flame-colored leaves and the warm sun but chilly air…yeah. I’ve always loved the fall. My dad was the village’s blacksmith, he was amazing with metal. The irony of it was that people said he had a “gift” for it, and he did…but they didn’t know. He could pretty much bend metal to his will, but a fat lot of good that did him when we were taken prisoner. Um, more on that later.
My mom was your average housewife. She hadn’t gotten much of an education-my dad did, though-but she made sure I at least knew how to write and read. Oh, and she was an Enchantress. She used to make the brooms sweep the floor and the dishes wash themselves to the beat of a song we used to sing together. My dad taught me math and everything else. When I was seven, my sister was born. She wasn’t like most little sisters; she was the very picture of innocence. Not a word against her from anybody. It was around this time that I began to notice my powers. I would go out of sight into the forest and practice every day. Soon, I was really good at it, and could fool just about anybody. I started small-the village kids-then went as far as to impersonate the governor. Nobody ever found out, which was a really good thing. Then we were captured, our parents killed along with most of the village, but I talked our captors out of killing us too. They let us go. We lived on the streets for a while before some orphanage took us in. We hadn’t been there for more than a year before my sister was killed by some jealous jerks. I killed them, yes. I Shifted into a new form and killed them all out of blind rage, but my form gave out and I got caught. They sent me to the slave place, hoping that I’d be broken in, and here I am. I made a best friend while I was there, a girl named Ayame. She got bought by some guy, but not before stealing the keys to the cell. She left them under the cot, and I escaped that night.

Appearance:
- Height:5’5…is that even average?
- Weight: Dude, none of your business! Oh, it’s not optional? Fine. 116. But I carry my weight well, thank you!
- Eyes: It kinda varies between a golden and dark brown, depending on the time of day…lighter and gold-er in the mornings, then gets progressively darker as the day goes on until they’re practically black. Assuming I stay in my original form all day.
- Hair: My hair’s short, above my shoulders and framing my face. It’s layered and straight, and no, I don’t cut it myself. I don’t need to.
- Markings: I’m pretty clean of birthmarks or weird symbols…
