In the year 4010, the world has thrived but something happened that caused millions to change into creatures of myth. Nekos, kitsunes, inus, demons, and other creatures where what the millions where changed into. Vampires came out of hiding shortly after that, so people thought they where changed by the same event as the others. Nobody thought of the mythical beings as human, so they caught them and sold them to the ones with enough money.
Now in the year 4020, a few of the mythical creatures are owns but they are mostly vampires. The others are still bought and sold although humans have been added into the mix. The ones wealthy enough to buy and own the slaves, which is what the myth creatures are.
