"Yes, actually. Orpheus...Orpheus Nyx."
"Named for the Dark God?" she asked, curious. His name meant Dark God of the Night, or at least that was the translation she knew. Thinking back on the feeling of the two, very different wings as they brushed her shoulders, she pursed her lips. "Angel and Demon mix?" she questioned after a moment.
Naminé stretched her arms above her head, and rolled her shoulders back before she spun away from him and walked a few feet away. Looking over her shoulder, her brown eyes were warm, inviting. "Come on.. I think I have some clothes from a past guest that are your size." she said, her eyes checking his size and height. "Don't worry, they're clean." she chuckled.

He stared at her, stunned. Sure, his heritage wasn't difficult to discern, but the way she, ever so casually, guessed it and then offhandedly invited him to her home directly afterward threw him off completely; and from the way Liora and Charon were reacting, he wasn't the only one. [glow=red,1,000] I'm liking this girl more and more by the second. Hurry up and catch up with her, boy.[/glow] Charon finally managed to say in a semi-normal tone. Liora--miraculously--had been stunned into silence.
"I...Yes. Demon-angel. How are you..." he shook his head and let himself trail off, a smile beginning to spread across his lips. "You, Miss Naminé, are a very unusual girl." Loping forward and unfurling his wings, he caught up in three long strides and touched back down. He tucked his wings to his back once more and fell gracefully into step beside her.

Smiling ever so slightly as he landed beside her, her hair blew across her face for a moment with the sudden down-draft. Righting it quickly, she brushed it out of her eyes and tucked her bangs behind her ears. As his wings came back towards his back, they accidentally touched her shoulder, the feathers of his angelic wing carressing her shoulder. She felt her own wings squirm just under the surface, wanting to be free. This time they weren't warning her of danger, they just wanted to come out and play.
"You, Mr. Orpheus, are quite right." she murmured playfully. Her eyes shimmered in the moonlight as it stubbornly continued to strike her right in the face, highlighting all of her features, from her pale skin, to her lush, bow shaped lips. She smiled at him, delighted to see his own, striking smile. She liked having him here with her, somebody here with her. It was a nice change, normally after she was tormented by a ghost she was alone, and was left to dwell upon the horrible sights and the ghastly smells.

He wasn't sure how to react to this whole thing. She actually seemed to be enjoying herself in his company; a thing that rarely happened to him. Liora was overjoyed and was about to tell him just how happy she was when Charon barked out a command. [glow=red,1,000] Kiss her![/glow]
Orpheus just about fell onto his face. What?! he yelled inwardly, composing himself again on the outside and shooting her a charming smile. In his head, however, he was totally disoriented. Charon snickered and offered no explanation. Orpheus just shook his head, rolling his eyes, then looked at her.
Whoa. his thought came faintly as he almost forgot how to think, if that even made sense. She was so impossibly gorgeous...but he wouldn't risk scaring her off just yet.
"You know what the worst part about being what I am is? I got stuck with both sides as an alter ego." he decided to be up front about it and see how she reacted, making sure to speak casually and calmly.

Blinking in surprise as he seemed to almost fall down, her arm shot out a bit, getting ready to right him if he needed him. Seeing that he was okay, she pulled her arms back and chuckled, grinning. She blushed when he sent his beautiful smile her way. Smiling innocently as his eyes widened as he looked upon her she raised her eyes, not sure what had him so stunned.
"You know what the worst part about being what I am is? I got stuck with both sides as an alter ego."
Tilting her head to the side, her face finally lit up with a huge smile. "So that's why! I kept feeling like there were spirits around. They are, I just can't see them because they're in you." she beamed, happy that that certain mystery had finally been cleared up. "So..." Naminé pursed her lips, "There's a demon.. and angel spirit inside you, and they talk to you? Yeah, I guess that would get annoying if you wanted some peace and quiet. It's a lot like what I do though, and let me tell you, you got the better end. You don't see dissolving bodies everywhere," she shuddered, cringing.

She responded to him by chatting happily about how annoying it must be to have an angel and demon trapped in your head.
This time he actually did fall, right onto his rear end, gaping up at her. Charon was having some sort of fit, and Liora may or may not have just keeled over dead. "You know, I have never met anyone quite like you." he said in wonder. "You just managed to do, in less than an hour, what I've been trying to for years. You shut them up."
Slowly, he stood up and shot her a devilish smirk, his dark eyes glimmering. The girl had managed to knock him off guard twice now, but it was his turn. Stepping closer to her, he backed her up until she was pressed against a tree. He made sure he wasn't scaring her, keeping his expression mischevious but not menacing.
"And that, my dear, deserves a reward." he added, and then gently pressed his lips to hers.

"Woah!" she exclaimed, backing up in surprise as he fell down on his as.s.
"You know, I have never met anyone quite like you. You just managed to do, in less than an hour, what I've been trying to for years. You shut them up."
She chuckled, "Yeah, well, I guess I'm just special like that." she teased, grinning down at him. Naminé bent over to look at him, her hands on her knees. Straightening up as he finally got to his feet, her eyes widened and she retreated when he smiled wolfishly at her. Looking up at him in confused surprise, as he stepped closer to her, his still bare chest only inches away from her, she backed away until she was firmly pressed against a tree.
Her chocolate eyes shot up to his face, and she met his mischevious eyes. She knew from that that he wasn't trying to hurt her, so she relaxed.
"And that, my dear, deserves a reward."
The next thing she knew his soft lips were pressed against hers in a gentle kiss. Her eyes fell closed, as she forgot about everything else but his lips on hers. After a moment, she pulled her head back, resting it against the tree's bark. "Um... I've gotta do that more often, if that's my reward." she blurted, in surprise. Realizing a moment later just what she'd said, she blushed.

"Um... I've gotta do that more often, if that's my reward."
"Is that so?" he chuckled, one eyebrow raising incredulously at her as he shook his head slightly. His touseled brown hair fell over his mismatched eyes, casting his features in shadow. The moonlight appeared to radiate from his skin due to his position, the bits of silver light that passed him illuminating her. To anyone else they might appear to be nothing more than ghosts of an old memory, a faint glimpse of another realm.
[glow=red,1,000]We struck gold with this one, Orphie.[/glow]
Oh, shut it. he thought irritably, pushing the demon out of his mind for the time being, wanting to focus entirely on the young woman pressed against him.
"Now, I would continue this full-heartedly, but we both smell as if we ourselves were dead." he commented mildly. "Shall we continue, my lady?"
Ohhh, did he have a surprise for her! "Where is our destination located, precisely?" he asked, smirking. He had something in store for that girl...

Smirking a bit, she chuckled. "Maybe." she teased, rocking from side to side cutely. Lifting her hand as his bangs fell over his eyes, blocking them from view, she brushed them aside lightly and smiled up at him. Her warm eyes noticed how his skin almost seemed to glow from the moon, but she liked to think that it was the angelic part of him shining through.
"Now, I would continue this full-heartedly, but we both smell as if we ourselves were dead. Shall we continue, my lady?" Hm... his lady. She liked the sound of that. Naminé also adored the thought that he wanted to keep kissing her, cause Gods knew she wanted to kiss him. She blinked inwardly at that one, since when had that happened? Smirking, she rolled her eyes and placed her hands on his bare chest, shoving him away playfully.
Naminé Yuffie actually found that she had to think his question over for a second, the one where he asked where their destination was. She had been so into the kiss, she'd pretty much forgotten everything else. Brushing her bangs aside, she looked up at him with her pretty eyes. "Um.. On the opposite side of the city, just on the border." she answered after a moment. She kind of had to stay away from the center of the crime-filled city. There were too many ghosts wandering around, and too many people who would think she was insane if they saw her talking to herself.

He allowed himself to be pushed away, smirking at her. Ironically, he knew exactly where that was. He himself tried to avoid the center of the city whenever possible, as his bad habit of responding to Liora and Charon often got him into a great deal of trouble.
His endless orbs surveyed her lithe figure and fair features, one hand rising to brush the stray locks from her face absently before falling back to his side.
Orphie, honey, are you sure about this? It might scare her, and then--
[glow=red,1,000] Nag nag nag! Liora, you feather-brained idiot, let the child have some fun for once without you chiding him every step of the way. Talk about acting your age...[/glow]
I'll have you know that-
"Both of you shut up." he muttered quietly to himself, and they subsided with a bit of grumbling. "Sorry," he added to her as his wings unfurled to reveal every inch of their full length--easily twice her size. Their majesty went unrivaled; even the full moon dulled in comparison. However, their beauty only seemed to go hand-in-hand with hers, and he smiled as he turned her around gently.
His lips by her ear, he wrapped his strong arms around her waist securely and swept her off her feet, now cradling her. "Naminé...trust me." he murmured huskily as his wings began to beat, making the moon's silver light dance before them. As they rose, the wind began whispering across his face, toying with his hair and caressing his skin lovingly. The stars shimmered above, and he could see them reflected in her chocolate eyes, making their rich brown appear golden.

Blinking in surprise as his hand brushed her bangs to the side, and out of her eyes, she smiled softly. Her chocolate eyes followed the path of his hand as it travelled back to his side. When he spoke suddenly her eyes darted to his face, but it only took her a moment to realize he wasn't talking to her, but to his two spirits. "Oh, don't worry about me. You don't have to apologize for that kind of stuff. At least not with me." she said kindly.
Stepping back in surprise as his wings suddenly stretched out, she glanced up at him, wondering what he was planning. Turning her head to look at him as he turned her around, pressing her against his chest, she found his lips right by her ear. The next thing she knew, his arms were around her and he swung her up into them, cradling her against his chest.
"Naminé...trust me."
His husky voice broke through her thoughts, and she nodded obediantly. "I do." she murmured. Her eyes watched as his hair was tossed around by the wind, and she reached up, brushing a bit from his eyes, before her hand fell back down onto her stomach. She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment, just because of the weirdness of the sensation. She'd flown before, sure, but it was totally different being in someone's arms as they flew than doing the flying herself.

[glow=white,1,000]Aw, Orphie, this is soooo romantic. I never knew you could be so sweet![/glow] Liora cooed, making Orpheus fight a mental battle to keep from rolling his eyes and responding aloud. Thanks. he thought wryly, wondering if he should feel insulted by her comment. Charon made a gagging noise and paced back and forth within the confines of Orpheus' mind.[glow=red,1,000]This is rather irritating.[/glow] The demon grumbled, glaring over at the squealing angel.
The light of the moon and stars swirled over his skin, the silver and gold washing over eachother like the waves of the ocean. Naminé's features had hit a level of beauty that made him forget to breathe, let alone fly, and they dropped two or so feet before he regained control. He tore his gaze away from her with an exasperated laugh. You're distracting me and you're not even trying to. he commented mildly, fixing his gaze ahead.
I'm going to need you two to help me with this one. he told Charon and Liora, both of whom agreed; naturally, they knew what he was planning.
"Hold on tight, Naminé." he instructed her as his wings folded in slightly and they moved parallel to the ground, so far below. Swiftly, he shifted his hold on her so that she was horizontal with his arms around her waist, and in a burst of scarlet and teal light, they were flying forward faster than anything ever could. He shifted his body to shield her from the harsh winds and bolted forward...
The rings on each of his hands began to glow brighter and brighter, and he carefully twisted so that the beams of light they admitted were in front of the two airborne. The lights touched, and the air around them took on a sort of unnatural glimmer. Orpheus angled towards it, and everything disappeared.
He had a feeling this might scare her, so he held her closer and spoke reassuringly into her ear.
"It's alright, I promise...I won't let anything hurt you. "
No sooner had he said it than everything began coming into focus, and what a sight it was.
The Eternal Night, the only place that Charon and Liora could come out for longer than a few hours, was a dimension parallel the one they had just been in. It was breathtaking. They hovered over the face of a cliff just near a forest that was lush with azure and black roses. Below, the ocean raged, with the moon and millions of stars perfectly reflected, so it was almost as if they were somewhere in the sky. Orpheus touched down gracefully and landed, setting her down but not letting go until he was sure she had her balance. He knew an explanation was in order, but first he let her take it all in. The unearthy beauty of this place was astounding, he knew.
"Welcome to the Eternal Night," he murmured.
If there was one good thing about this place, it was that time stood still...and that any trace of the dead disappeared. Therefore, their clothes no longer smelled like decay.
[glow=red,1,000]Yes! Orpheus, we'll give you two a minute...heh. [/glow]Charon snickered, his mental bond to the boy disappearing as he disappeared from Orpheus' mind and into the Eternal Night. Liora merely laughed in delight as she too was freed.

Everything was going swimmingly, Naminé was being held in this amazing guys arms, he was flying her home, or at least that's what she thought, and he looked breathtaking. Or, well, everything was going fantastically, until they began to drop in altitude. Ducking her head, she tucked it against his chest, ignoring the smell of death, and focusing instead on his intoxicating scent. The next thing she knew, he had laughed slightly.
"You're distracting me and you're not even trying to."
Naminé giggled, deciding not to say anything so he could focus, and not make them plummet towards the earth. Believe it or not, she did not have dreams of living out the rest of her life - well, maybe not living - as a pancake on the ground.
"Hold on tight, Naminé"
She immediatly tightened her hold on him, but made sure not to hurt him, she knew her own strength. How could she not? She'd gotten in through an extensive testing process, of course she knew her own limits, her family wouldn't have been content otherwise.
As his wings suddenly beat the air, hard, and they were rocketed through the sky, she squeeked a bit, and pressed against his chest a bit tighter. 'Naminé...trust me.' His earlier words came back into her mind, and she instantly relaxed again. Sure, she'd just met Orpheus, but she did actually feel like she could trust him.. with anything.
"It's alright, I promise... I won't let anything hurt you."
Naminé couldn't help the small smile that pasted itself upon her lips. Closing her eyes, she nodded against his chest, and then opened them once more. "I know." she said truthfully. The beauty that hit her eyes almost made her drop dead. She felt, that if she had been the one flying, she would have at least forgotten to fly. A moment or two later, she was on her feet once more, and before she could help it, her mind felt disappointment. She liked being in his arms, and in all truth, she'd enjoyed herself. It may be different from flying yourself, but she thought she might actually like it just as much, maybe better.
The first words from her lips were, "It's beautiful," in a soft whisper. However, the second phrase that she uttered from those same lips was such a complete turn around, even her mind was a little shocked at how quickly she changed direction. "We don't smell like we're dead anymore." she blurted, happy by the change of smell, now her nostrils didn't feel like they were constantly being assulted. Realizing what she said, she looked sheepishly over at Orpheus, with the cutest little smile ever.

Before he could answer--if he could have in the first place, that smile was devastatingly adorable-- a dark, low laugh came from behind them. Orpheus rolled his eyes irritably, but turned to face the demon as his wings disappeared and both eyes faded to a pale blue.
[glow=red,1,000]"Hello, Naminé."[/glow]
Charon murmured in his irresistably smooth, deliciously seductive voice. His dark, gold-flecked eyes flickered over her features as an approving smirk graced his lips. "Go to Hell, Charon." Orpheus snapped. The demon unfurled his wings and smiled, revealing his enlogated canine teeth. None of this took away from the impossible, devastatingly handsome features he possessed.
"Orpheus Nyx! I know I've taught you better than to sentence people to Hell!" A lilting, gentle voice chided as Liora floated into view. She was as beautiful as Charon was handsome, with golden hair that framed her face and cascaded to her waist in curls and waves, and sapphire-blue eyes framed by dark lashes. Her skin was fair, but not washed-out. She wore a light blue gown with long, bell-like sleeves, while Charon wore dark pants and a collared, button-up shirt that was left open at the top.
The angel cast a dark look at Charon as Orpheus looked up in exasperation. "Though in this case, I may make an exception." she added. Charon raised an eyebrow at her, then returned his gaze to Naminé and Orpheus.
"Naminé, these are the two I told you about...Charon and Liora."
Liora smiled at the girl in a motherly fashion while Charon simply smirked.

Naminé blinked in surprise, as Orpheus's outward appearance changed, not that she minded, she still thought he was insanely handsome, the changes had done nothing to waver that, it was just unexpected. She jumped at the sudden laugh that echoed darkly behind her. Spinning around she met the crimson gaze of Orpheus's demon. As ... Charon's eyes roamed here body leasurely, she had an odd sensation of feeling like he was trying to eat her.
Turning as a female voice scolded Orpheus with words of .. obvious angel intention, Naminé first smiled slightly at Charon with a kind smile and then smiling at Liora. "Oh, I see! The spirits. Well.. it's nice to meet you both. Although," she said turning her head in Charon's direction, "I have never felt more like I was going to be eaten in my entire life, and I've got to tell you that I've had a few canibal ghosts." she chuckled. Then, turning to Liora she said with a kind smile, "As for you, you're pretty."
ooc// sorry, its a bit small lol.
