Naminé felt him tremble, and she wrapped her arms around his waist comfortingly. She gazed up at him, and listened quietly. "How long were you stuck here?" she asked sadly. Smiling a bit she added, "On the bright side, if Charon decides to take revenge on use because I hurt his ego, if we get stuck here, at least you'll have company this time. Company that you don't usually have."
Naminé frowned when she saw how saddened he was because he couldn't see the amazing sight overhead. Tilting her head back, her hair tumbled down her back as she gazed up at the brilliant scene. Taking a deep breath she resolved to try something. Because of her parents experiments on her, the wings on her back almost seemed to have a will, or a spirit, of their own, meaning that she in a way, had two. Her own spirit could also be split in half, for a short period of time.. She knew what she was about to do would work (it works), but she didn't know how long it would last. She could at least guarantee twenty minutes.
Exhaling slowly, she placed her right hand on Orpheus's warm, bare chest. Detatching the spirit of her wings temporarily and severing her spirit in two, she shoved them through the palm of her hand into his chest, where they then split and went to his two separate eyes. She waited until all of her half of soul went into him, and as her eye-sight faded, rendering her blind, the two souls that she put into him would no doubt be giving him back his sight, for the time being. She smiled up at him, as her eyes turned silver, the color of the moon. It seemed for girls of her race, this was the color you got if you were blind instead of gray or milky blue.
"How does it look?" she murmured, smiling softly; unseeingly. Her hand fell to her lap.

He hesitated to answer. "Six years." he finally said before lapsing into silence. Her hand found its way to his chest.
"How does it look?" she asked.
For a split second, he was confused. Hadn't he told-
Light burst into his vision, thousands of colors. He was seeing thing through an entirely new spectrum of hues and shades for a moment, dazzled by the spritiual aura and the comet's shimmering lights. Her hand fell from his chest to her lap as she looked up at him, and he saw that her eyes had become silver.
"Naminé," he gasped, looking at her. His gaze softened as he took her face in his hands and pressed his forehead to hers. "Beautiful." he answered finally, stroking her skin lightly, trailing his finger over her features rhythmatically. Orpheus didn't ask how she had done it; it just didn't matter as much as the unreal aura of sheer beauty she was giving off. The stardust shimmered like diamonds, her eyes glimmered like small moons, and her dark hair rippled down her back like an obsidian river. What more was there to say?
Driven by something he didn't understand, he pushed her down onto the springy grass and kissed her once more.

Being blind was something she figured someone would never get use to. When one was use to seeing colors and sights, to suddenly see nothing, was like having caught onto a log in a rushing river, only to have that log suddenly disappear. However, she would have done it again and again, just to make Orpheus happy.
Hearing him gasp her name, for a moment she thought something had gone wrong, until he captured her face in his hands and he pressed his forehead gently against her own. Naminé couldn't help the shiver that ran down her spine as his fingers carressed her skin, tracing over her lips, eyes, nose, and jaw.
"Beautiful."
"I was talking about the sky." she teased, noting how he had never once looked up. Somehow, she could not only feel him through touch, but she had an eiry sense of everything he did. She figured it was because half of her soul was in him at the moment.
Suddenly she found herself, being laid gently in the dew covered grass, the condensation on the blades making small wet spots on her shirt. Smiling as his lips were pressed once more against hers, she opened her arms to him, and wrapped them around his neck, her fingers tangling gently in his soft hair. Good, he seemed to be enjoying himself.

Being there with her slender body pressed against his own strong one, her arms around his neck and their lips pressed against one another's, stardust raining down from the heavens like the blessing of the dieties...it was actually too much to even try to understand. The feeling she was giving him was unlike any he had felt before.
He pulled back ever so slightly, his lips still brushing hers with every word. "Take it back, Naminé. There's something I want to show you." Slowly, he pulled back just enough that, when her sight returned, she could see that the stars had formed into an elegant script of her name. Her name, written in the nightsky, reflecting in the ocean. He bit his lip anxiously, not knowing if what he was going to do next was too soon, too much, for her.
Slowly, the stars formed the next three words; words he had never thought he could convey to another human. I love you.

Her lips moved against his tenderly, as she was sandwiched between his body and the soft ground. She could feel the dust from the comets falling down over them, blanketing them in its slight warmth. Naminé's heart hummed in her chest contently. With any other guys, or rather, with the one other man she'd been with since Aaron died, her heart had thumped wildly in her chest, like a butterfly trying to escape. That wasn't a good feeling to her. It was like her wings had moved into her heart and they were telling her to fly away as fast as she could. With Orpheus things were different. Ignoring the fact that her wings were in him at the moment, her tattoo had even disappeared to prove it, she felt safe with him, safe to be herself. Safe.. to love him. As he pulled back ever so slightly, his lips still lingering against hers, she smiled a bit.
"Take it back, Naminé. There's something I want to show you."
His lips pulled completely off her lips and she frowned just a bit in disappointment. She wasn't done kissing him. Putting her hand back on his chest, she sucked the two souls back out of his body and enhaled deeply as they returned in a rush to her body. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it felt like a rush of cold water moving through her veins. Closing her eyes she waited until she saw sparks and then she opened her eyes, seeing the stars and his gorgous face above her again.
Her eyes focused tenderly on him, but she was distracted when she saw her name written in the stars. Naminé's eyes widened as the stars began to shoot across the sky, rearranging themselves into words. I love you. Her heart did something strange. It thumped once out of shock but then once again went into that content purr. She knew what that meant.
As the star's glittered over head and sparks from their bodies rained down around them, lighting up the sky, her hand cupped his cheek, and she leaned up on her spare elbow. Pressing her lips against his, she tilted her head forward and smiled softly. "You love me?" she whispered, her lips still lingering on his. "I love you too." Naminé murmured, a few tears dripping down from her closed chocolate eyes.
ooc// im sorry. urs is so much better. ><

His milky-blue eyes closed as he heard her sweet, serenading voice speak the words he had written in the very stars for her. The words of his family rang in his ears.
"You are an abomination, a creature of the underworld!" An angel cried. "A monster, unlovable! Begone!"
"Filth," a demon hissed, looking at him with grotesquely proportioned eyes. "Worthless beast."
They were wrong.
After all these years of believing each word they had spoken, he had proven them wrong. She loved him; Naminé. This impossibly beautiful, kind, sweet woman loved him.
"Thank you..." he whispered. They were silent for a long moment before, slowly, hesitantly, he let his hand run up her side, brushing her waist when her shirt rode up. "Naminé..."

As Orpheus fell silent, she closed her eyes and smiled. Her parents had never told her that she wouldn't be loved, the truth of it was she was actually suppose to be married to Aaron. That was their plan for her, and she would have been fine with that. Until now. Now, she loved Orpheus.. and Orpheus loved her. Still, despite all that, they had thought she was worthless. Orpheus didn't think she was worthless, and that was all she needed.
"Thank you..."
Her lips turned up tenderly, and she took her elbow out from underneath her, lowing her back down against the soft grass. A moment later, Orpheus's hands slowly slid up her sides, her shirt scrunching up towards her chest. She shivered pleasantly as his warm hands touched her hips.
"Naminé..."
"Wait." she murmured, softly, suddenly. She pressed her right palm against his chest again. The spirit of her wings shot through him again, along with one fourth of her spirit this time. The two divided into equal portions and shot to his eyes. This event cause them both to be able to see, although there vision wasn't as perfect as normal. It was dulled a bit, but everything was still clear, the colors were just a little less bright. When she was done, she smiled gently, and took her hand away from his chest, letting it lay on the ground by her again. [/size]

"Wait," she said.
He stopped, awaiting rejection. What had he been thinking? It was much too soon, how could he even entertain the idea of going so far so quic-
His vision came rushing back in a blur of light, and he gasped, startled by the sudden onslaught of hues and shades. What had she...? He could see by the brilliant golden-brown of her irises that sight had returned to her as well, but it was strange, as if there were some pseudo-clear obstruction in the way. He blinked, once, twice...there was no change. What could she have possibly done? Oh. Orpheus shook his head slowly, a smile creeping over his lips. Naminé would never cease to surprise him.
He paused, watching her. Was this what she wanted to wait for? Her hand returned to its former place, and so he realized that he would never know if he didn't ask. Still, actions speak louder than words, right?
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Liora soared over the clouds, feeling the mist drench her fair skin. Her sapphire-blue eyes were glazed over, a piercing sorrow evident in them. She was so absorbed in her thoughts that she almost didn't see the grotesque beast flying towards her until they collided. Swooping out of the way, she stared up at the black-scaled beast's huge black wings and twisted face, with tenticles hanging off it. Oversized limbs put the strange creature entirely out of proportion. It lunged at her with great talons.
She screamed, backpeddling frantically, her arms rising in an attempt to defend herself, awaiting the pain.
It never came. She opened her eyes to see a blur of movement that she vaguely understood to be Charon crash into the monster and send it hurdling down towards the now-violent waves. Her gaze snapped up to the horizon, and cold dread washed over her like a tidal wave. There were hundreds of the monsters.
[glow=red,2,300] "Liora!" [/glow]
Charon roared from below. She jolted away in time to avoid being cleaved in half by yet another monster's talons, this one more like a gigantic dragon-bird thing twisted in unforseen ways.
[glow=red,2,300]"Go get Orpheus and Naminé and take them to the portal, I'll follow!"[/glow]
She hesitated.
[glow=red,2,300]"GO!" [/glow]
He roared, hands glowing with flame-like energy. The angel whimpered, but dove away and shot towards the cliffs.
~~~~~~~~~~
Orpheus bolted to his feet as a blood-curdling shriek echoed over the ocean of the Eternal Night. "That was Liora." he said, trying to pull his mind from his lustful state and focus. Anxiety was evident in his features as he cast his gaze out towards the horizon, and then became pure horror.
"Naminé, do you see-"
Before he could finish his sentence, Liora's lithe form hurdled to the ground. Her face was eclipsed in terror.
[glow=white,2,300] "The portal! Charon's coming, there are all these creatures, oh Orphie!"[/glow]
she sobbed, crystalline tears streaming down her face. Orpheus' expression blanched for a moment, and then he grabbed Naminé's hand and began running in the opposite direction. Liora flew forward, and her form became transluscent before the human boy was surrounded by a heavenly light. A moment later, one angelic wing sprouted from his right shoulder as the matching ring shone in response. His speed increased as he tucked it in tightly to his back and ducked his head.
A moment later, Charon burst into view, slamming into Orpheus with a force that--had the demon not already been in the process of Merging--would have broken every bone in the boy's body. As with Liora, the demon wing burst from beneath Orpheus' skin with a pained yelp from the boy in question, and the ring began to glow. A moment later, a terrible screech like no mortal creature assaulted their ears. Orpheus cringed, then yanked Naminé out of the way as a shadow fell across them.
"Charon, Liora, now!" he yelled. The portal formed, and they escaped through it just as great talons raked through the air where they had been only seconds before.

Naminé watched him tenderly as his lips curled up into a smile. Apparently she continued to amaze him. Orpheus watched her with curious eyes, as if waiting for something. maybe she should have been more clear, he was very much allowed to continue. The next thing she knew, he bolted to his feet, looking like a spooked rabbit. Getting up to her feet, confused she touched his arm with her gentle fingers.
"That was Liora. Naminé, do you see-"
Her hand recoiled as she turned her dulled vision to the skies. At the exact moment Liora came barreling out of the sky, and Naminé started, scared. As Liora suddenly slammed into Orpheus's form, molding into him, she cried out in shocked pain as part of the soul she'd placed in his body got shock-waved back into her, her tattoo ripping back into her back. Wincing she ran with him, her feet slamming into the ground with her added strength, allowing her to keep up with her obvious male superior.
As Charon then knocked into Orpheus, the rest of her soul was catapulted back into her, and she cried out again, squinting against the tears that came back into her and the sudden bright lights that assulted her senses. She then cringed, terrified as the beast almost hit her when Orpheus pulled her out of the way.
Holding onto him as they slipped through the portal, she squeezed her eyes shut, her eyes still sore from the sudden harsh lights that attacked her eyes.
ooc// they didn't... do the steamy, lol, did they?

((ooc: not yet...buahahahaaa!))
Orpheus didn't have time to comfort her, because no sooner were they thrown through the portal than they found themselves in the middle of what appeared to be a gang war. Bullets rang out in the alleyways as Orpheus and Naminé emerged from thin air. Some startled cries were heard, but Orpheus didn't stop to handle the situation. Scooping Naminé up and cradling her in his strong arms, he ran straight up the wall of the alley and got a running start before launching into the air. His wings snapped open to catch them as they plummetted, making him wince, but then in a few strokes they were completely airborne.
The frantic rush continued as, using memories gleaned from the wing-spirits she had shared with him, he made his way to her home. In fact, he didn't even slow down until they had burst through a window and he had made sure to lock every door, setting her down on the couch. Finally he came into the room he had left her in, collapsing on the floor with sweat glistening all over his rapidly rising and falling, sexily-built chest. His dark hair fell into his eyes, which were closed with sheer exhaustion. Still, he rolled over and propped himself up to look at her with concern, reaching out and stroking the side of her face.
"Are you alright? You weren't hurt, were you?"

As they passed through the portal and fell suddenly into a storm of gunshots, she winced in fear, and tucked her head against his chest and he swept her up into his arms, holding her tightly against his chest. Somehow he managed not to touch the searing tattoos on her back as if he knew that they were causing her pain, which he probably didn't.
Suddenly, before she knew it, they crashed through the window of her small house. A few shards of glace scraped against her skin, and a few lodged themselves there, but only like three. When he laid her down gently on her own couch, she ignored her internal pain and her back for a moment, and went to work plucking the glass out of her injured arms. Her eyes widened as he fell to the ground in front of her. Closing her eyes and smiling softly, as his hand reached out, stroking her cheek, she rolled to her feet. Sitting down on the ground, facing him with her legs out to the side, she pulled his head gently into her lap. She brushed his sweaty hair out of his eyes, and smiled down tenderly at him.
"Not badly." she answered truthfully. Why lie? He could see how she kept her back from touching the couch that she was leaning against, and how she had to squint every few seconds to get her head and eyes to adjust. her dainty fingers stroked his cheek. "What about you, are you okay?" she asked worriedly.

On cue, he winced as the places where the creature's talons and a few bullets grazed. His arms wrapped around her waist anyway, guilt evident on his features when he saw the glass wounds and how much pain she was obviously in. Totally forgetting his own, he let his right hand rest on her shoulder.
Liora-
Already on it, honey. The angel cut him off before he could complete his sentence, the heavenly glow surrounding his hand and seeping into Naminé to ease as much of her pain as he could.
He looked at her, and then without warning picked her up and carried her from the living room to the large bathroom. Setting her on her feet near the bathtub, he turned on the hot water and plugged it, waiting for it to fill up. Turning to look at her with a devilish grin, he raised one eyebrow suggestively, but there was a tender look in his eyes. "Do you want to finish what we've started, or are you going to make me wait, Miss Noctis?" he purred.

Her eyes darkened in worry as she saw the wounds he had acquired suddenly make themselves known to him. His arms were suddenly around her waist, and it seemed that he had forgotten completely about his own pain, with his sudden need to take care of her. She stroked his cheek forgivingly as his right hand touched her shoulder, and the white glow surrounded his hand. Almost instantly the white hot pain in her back, dulled to an alomst unnoticable throb. It was so much better than before. When she'd first recieved it, it had felled like she had been whipped by a crazy man with a love for flaying his arm up and down repeatedly.
Next to go was the pain in her eyes and head, and her facial features lightened measurably, as the tension between her brows ceased. Just as she was beginning to feel immensly better, he plucked her off the ground, and carried her to the bathroom. He set her on her feet, and she looked at him curiously, her lips tilted up in a sexy smirk. Seeing the steam rise from over the tub, she smiled, as her hair began to feel the weight of the water particles. Watching as the tender, yet suggestive look entered his eyes, she licked her dry lips slowly, her eyes dancing mischeviously.
Do you want to finish what we've started, or are you going to make me wait, Mis Noctis?" her love, purred sensually. The delicious shivers ran down her back, surprisingly not hurting at all. "You look like you might die from waiting, if I did that. I'm not a cruel person, but how much do you really want this?" she murmured, her voice low, unintentally seductive as she walked towards him, her hand lightly touching his chest.

Orpheus' smirk grew as she approached, and he tilted his head to one side. "You have no idea what you're doing to me right now," he commented, running his hands up her sides and pulling the shirt with them. His visage softened with affection, and he ran one hand through her hair. "But I've no wish to rush this. Would you care to join me?" he asked, motioning towards the coiling steam of the water filling the tub.
Oh Oreo, that's so romantic! Liora squealed. Treating her as if she were a Queen! Awww! That's adorable!
Orpheus managed to ignore the fangirl-ish squealing, letting his forehead rest on Naminé's and gazing into her chocolate eyes as he awaited her response.

Orpheus sighed, squinting up at the afternoon sky. Usually he preferred to take to the alleyways, but since he wanted to find a good place for him and Naminé to eat out tonight, he was forced to take the streets instead.
It had been two days since he had seen Naminé and made love to her. He hadn't wanted to impose on her hospitality, and duty called elsewhere, so he had left the next morning after making her breakfast. [glow=red,1,300] Hurry up. She doesn't know when you're supposed to be back and that you plan on having her move in with you yet. [/glow]
Charon growled, making Liora squeal excitedly. Orpheus rolled his eyes, looking down at the black open-collared shirt and dark, tailored pants he had bought from an expensive store only moments before. His old clothes had been splattered with blood from the assassination mission he had been instructed to perform, and he didn't want Naminé knowing about that just yet.
Finally, he came to her apartment. Rather than going in the front, he snuck into a nearby alley and scaled the back wall until he got to her window and tapped on the glass.
Naminé," he called.
