Charon rolled his eyes expressively as Liora burst into laughter that sounded like peals of bell chimes. "I do believe that's the first time in his entire existance that he was turned down by a woman. And thank you, my dear. I happen to know that there isn't one person here who doesn't think the same about you." She said between giggles. The demon frowned at her. Orpheus couldn't watch them; without them, he was blind. He'd rather not have Naminé know about that little bit of information, but chances were that Charon would make sure of it.
[glow=red,1,000]"Well, no matter. At least I can still see you, Miss Naminé."[/glow] Charon said, tilting his head to motion towards Orpheus' milky eyes. Liora shook her head sadly, but chose not to comment. The now-blind boy gritted his teeth, hands clenching into fists.

Naminé giggled at Liora's words. "Never been turned down, huh? Well then, I feel quite special having been the first." she teased.
"And thank you, my dear. I happen to know that there isn't one person here who doesn't think the same about you?"
Naminé blinked. She, pretty? She must have heard them wrong. Her parents had made her quite aware that she was in no way good looking. They made sure between all the lectures and experiments that she felt downright worthless as well, but she knew that was a lie. For one, in her heart she knew that she wouldn't have been put on earth if she was worthless, and secondly, they needed her for their tests, so she obviously had worth.
"Well, no matter. At least I can still see you, Miss Naminé."
She turned in surprise as he gestured at Orpheus's now unseeing eyes, what she saw that stood out more were his clenched fists as Charon spoke of them. Smiling a bit, she walked to Orpheus's side. She touched his hip with her soft fingers and then his cheek. Still smiling she said softly, "But he doesn't have to see me."

Her fingers brushed his skin gently, and Orpheus took her hand in his. He could practically feel the heated look Charon was giving her, and it was making him a mixture of irritated and angry. The demon didn't seem to understand that he couldn't have just any woman he wanted, and to go after Naminé when he knew first-hand that Orpheus was interested...well, that was just underhand.
Tugging her towards him, Orpheus trailed his hand up her arm, over her neck, and onto the side of her face. His sightless eyes looked down at her pleadingly, hoping she still cared enough to let him do what he was about to. Tilting her head up and caressing her skin with his strong fingers, he leaned down and kissed her.

Naminé could feel the holes that Charon's eyes were burning into her back, but she ignored them, paying all her attention to Orpheus. She had a feeling that Charon figured that he could have whatever lady he desired, no matter what, and she loved the fact that he would never have her. Smiling as Orpheus's larger hand took her own she gazed up into his sight-less eyes.
The next thing she knew, she was being pulled forward gently, and she bumped into his chest being held there. His smooth hand travelled up until it was cupping her cheek, and she looked once more into his eyes, seeing whatever emotion he had there. Pleading. He thought that because he couldn't see her when they were out she would care, or rather, wouldn't care about him. He was wrong. Why should she care that he couldn't see her? He didn't have to see her to know she was there.
Letting him tip her head up, she shivered pleasantly as his fingers stroked her cheek. There was power behind those fingers. Then he was kissing her, again. One of her arms came up and wrapped around his neck, perfectly content with kissing him in front of his other egos.

Liora laughed in delight, and Charon reluctantly gave up. His ego was wounded enough by the rejection, and pursuing it further would result in more pain than gain. He wolf-whistled appreciatively when Orpheus kissed Naminé, cheering them on with mild amusement. Liora giggled and took to the air, swooping down over them and letting shimmering stardust from her wings rain down around them. The angel had every intention of making the couple fall in love.
After a long moment, Orphie pulled back to let her breathe, half-smirking, half-smiling. The stardust was being caught in Naminé's hair and lightly spreading over her skin, making her appear to be some goddess from the heavens.
"Midiene..." he murmured, using an ancient word for Goddess.

As she was kissing Orpheus, she distinctly heard a wolf-whistle in the back of her mind. She knew it to be Charon; Liora wouldn't do something like that. She had to say, it was kind of interesting at times. Stardust from Liora's wings, as she soared overhead, rained down on them lightly, floating like snow would until it landed everywhere. It sprinkled over her hair and skin, giving her a silvery, moonlike glow, and it stuck to her eyelashes so that when she opened her eyes, they made her eyes shine.
After what felt like only a second, but was really much longer, Orpheus pulled away from her. She pouted in disappointment when the kiss ended, but giggled when she saw his mixed smile.
"Midiene...."
The meaning of his word rang in her ears, and she chuckled. Goddess? She pressed her forehead against his throat for a moment before pulling back again and smirking. "I think you're confused. I'm Naminé." she teased.

"I know," he said softly. "That's why I said it."
Liora practically swooned, while Charon rolled his eyes and turned away. He threw himself off the cliffs, his wings snapping out and catching him so he could soar off over the ocean. The angel watched him go silently, a strange look in her sapphire eyes.
Orpheus smirked down at the girl in his arms for a moment before turning and pacing over to the forest, which was alive with roses of various shades of purple, blue, and silver/black.

Naminé smiled softly, and pressed her forehead against his, standing on her tiptoes. "Sweet.." she murmured. She pressed her lips against his for just a quick second, and then she fell back down onto the flats of her feet. She smirked as she felt the wind beat against her back as Charon flew off the cliff. "I think you've killed Charon." she chuckled.
As he smirked down at her cutely, she grinned back up at him, happy to still be pressed against him. When he turned and walked over to the leafy forest, she floated along after him. She took his hand in her own, as she sat down amongst the roses so that he might still know where she was. Her free hand stroked the pretty petals, as she looked at it thoughtfully. She liked this place, the fact that death was kept away made it even better. Ghosts couldn't find her here.
"Thank you for bringing me here." she murmured, a smile in her voice. She knew that all too soon she'd have to ask for him to take her back to her home, but she didn't want to think about that. Now, of course she has wings, but she didn't even know how he got in here, and it probably had to do something with Charon and Liora. Naminé really didn't want to go back, she loved being here with him, but maybe he would stay with her. What was he thinking? He wouldn't stay with her. This fact made her frown sadly down at the flowers.

His smirk grew as she spoke, but his gaze darkened comically as she told him about Charon. "Good." he grumbled, making Liora giggle despite herself.
"Hehehe-I mean, Orpheus James Nyx!"
Orpheus shot his angelic alter-ego a grin, but his attention returned to Naminé when he felt her move downwards. It took him a second to understand what she was doing, but after a moment he sat down as well. His hands moved to hers to feel what she was doing at the moment, and he plucked the flower from her grasp and placed it behind her ear with unerring accuracy. "I don't need to see to know that the flower pales in comparison...and you're welcome." he said with a smile, one hand moving to her face. She was frowning; why?
Was she having doubts? He almost shook her in exasperation. In the short time he had known her, Orpheus had become impossibly fond of the necromancer. To ease her doubts, he replied, "I would take you anywhere you wanted to go, Naminé." he said, sincerity ringing out in every word.

Hearing Liora laugh, she chuckled. Not very angel like, now was she? When he took the flower from her hands and placed it behind her ear, tenderly, her eyes softened as she looked down at her hands, clutching them into small fists. Her hands were so much smaller than his, she felt fragile, weak.
"I don't need to see to know the flowers pale in comparison...and you're welcome."
"How could anything be prettier than this place? Still, thank you. You're so sweet." she murmured softly. The moment after she spoke, his fingers trailed over her lips, and she saw by how his expression suddenly mirrored hers that he was wondering why she was sad.
"I would take you anywhere you wanted to go, Naminé."
It was obvious that he meant that from the tone his voice had taken on. Thinking about that caused her frown to ease up a bit. "It's not about where I want to go.. It's about where I don't want you to go.. I don't want you to leave me." she mumbled, the last bit, averting her gaze. She knew that she was being highly odd. They'd just met, why should she be so against him leaving her, wasn't that how it worked? The truth of the matter was, that she felt attached to him, and if he went it was like he was taking part of her with him, and she didn't want to feel that pain.

The fear of someone leaving? He knew that pain all too well. So many people had abandoned him in the past, and yet he had given this girl his heart so freely. She might not know it yet, but Naminé had somehow gotten past all his defenses and wormed her way into his heart.
Gently, gently, he stroked the side of her face and then ran his fingers through her silkly hair. "As long as you want me to be here, Miss Naminé Noctis, I'll stay." He murmured, pulling her onto his lap and holding her to remind her that he was real, they were there, together.
His touseled brown hair fell over his pale blue eyes, the wind tugging at it as if begging for attention. "That is, if you want me to."

Naminé closed her eyes, fearing rejection or ridicule. Instead of harsh words, she was met instead with Orpheus's soft hand gently carressing her cheek. It stayed there for a moment, feeling warm and comfortable to her before it moved on, trailing up her jaw to stroke her hair. Leaning into his hand she smiled slightly. A guy would never understand just how amazing it was to have your hair messed with.
"As long as you want me here, Miss Naminé Noctis, I'll stay."
The next thing she knew, he gather her onto his lap, securing her with his strong arms. With a content sigh, she leaned her head against his chest, acknowledging how safe she felt there.
"That is, if you want me to."
Opening her eyes instantly, she leaned back so that she could see his face. Lifting her fingers she traced his lips before cupping his cheek in her small, dainty hand. "I most definetily want you to." she murmured, a smile in her voice and on her lips. Her heart sang. He wanted to stay with her!

"We have something in common, then, because there's nowhere I would rather be." He said with another devilish smile--no pun intended. Liora took to the skies then, giving the couple another lingering look before going in search of Charon. Orpheus heard the rustle of her wings and turned his head in the angel's direction, but shrugged it off after a moment and returned to his earlier position. She must have flown off. Hmm...it's so quiet. It was difficult to adjust to this sudden silence within his mind, but pleasant all the same. He could focus entirely on Naminé without worrying about being distracted at an awkward moment.
"This place...well, it isn't called the Eternal Night without reason. We could stay here for years and hardly a minute would have gone by in the other dimension, the one you're familiar with." he said softly, tilting his head back as if to see the stars. The night sky was stunning, but he wasn't able to see it. Fate was cruel, it seemed.
As if on cue, comets began blazing across the sky, stardust fluttering down upon the land. Orpheus frowned as if unsure what was happening, but inwardly was surpressing a smirk of amusement. He didn't ask, waiting to see what she thought of it.

Naminé giggled, and patted his jaw tenderly. "Oh, I'm sure we have more in common than that. We also both talk to spirits that no one else can see other than us. Aren't we special?" she commented, smirking. Turning her head to see Liora fly off she caught her look and smiled. Liora may seem angelic, but she had a feeling that she was one cunning little trickster.
"This place...well, it isn't called the Eternal Night without reason. We could stay here for years and hardly a minute would have gone by in the other dimension, the one you're familiar with."
Seeing how he was denied the beauty of the world around them, she tucked her head into his chest, forbiding herself to see it as well. "Have you done that before, then? Stayed up here for years, only to find the world - my dimension - the same as when you left it?" she asked curiously. It sounded kind of sad. If one were to get trapped in here, but then be thrusted back into the real world, only to find that while you had changed and matured, it was still the same, how would that feel?
Feeling light sprinkles on her skin, Naminé broke her vow, her curiousity getting the better of her, and she looked up, her eyes squinted to see through the blinding dust. She gasped in wonder at it. You never saw stuff like this, especially not in Erebos, the true Eternal Night or rather, Dark. One could almost never see the stars there. You would have to actually search for them. "It's like snow.. in the summer." she murmured, smiling. She lifted one of her hand and caught the sparkling bit, to bring it to eye level. Looking at it closely she could see all of the colors of the rainbow, reflecting right back onto her face.

He shuddered slightly as memories washed over him. Quietly, so quietly she may not have been able to hear him, he replied. "Yes...yes, that has happened before. Charon wasn't always so obliging." he murmured.
The stardust eased up to reveal the great flaming comets shooting overhead. He sighed, wishing desperately to see the amazing sight. Of course, he knew it was happening, since he was the one controlling it. Even so...
((sorry, my friend called with a crises lol))
